Love Hate

Lebanon… The expression “Love Hate” was probably conceived bysomeone from this 

wonderfully frustrating place. 

It sometimes baffles me how the happiest moments are when you get on a plane to leave and

at the same time when you hear “Ahlan Aini” as you get back on an MEA flight. You know MEA 

is a rip off and it marks areturn to insanity, yet you somehow feel comfortable about it. 

A land of such wasted potential, stuck in the backward waters of sectarianism masking 

tribalism, still a land where anything is possible and everything impossible for the wrong 

reasons. I refuse to quit on youmy little space on this earth. I continue to live in hope.
